Cos some things must never happen again!

Never Again

Never again.

No more.

No more pair to tear,

Being haste to hate,

Quick to prick,

Hearts to hurt,

Cause despair without repair,

Destroy lives and not ask why.

No more hold on to the initials and the superficials

And exchange the essentials for the differentials.

Thinking will be medicated while we are dessicated.

I will no more boast from coast to coast

And host the most of folks who

Sit to toast and roast and encroach on ideals

Far from real.

Never again.

Never again must seeds be sown amongst weeds by we.

Neither must vines be planted in their time,

Nor jewels be extracted without expecting the duels.

Never again must the day be a drain

And the way belay and chances be treated with glances and fortunes and be called "misfortunes" by us.

Never again.

Never again must light be hidden from sight

And might turn to blight because of lack of might, sight and insight.

Never again must we be denied of our portion and our potion and our position in our disposition and our dispensations

Until we are denied of our blessing and our lifting and our progressing

And are left as defts in debts.

Never again.

Never again must we continue in the ashes and mashes and stashes of acrimony and tyranny.

Knowing anomalies, abnormalities and delinquencies

That impairs the mind and tears the heart and disturbs the spirit,

Denying us of our gratitude for the past, our attitude in the present, and our latitude in the future.

So all eyes are on you.

All eyes are on you:

The seas and the seeds,

The shadows and the gallows,

The marrows in the hollows,

The arrows in the fallows

Are sitting in the waiting,

And they're waiting for the lifting of your gifting.

All eyes are on you

For you to make a mark positively deep enough for the earth to know when you are gone.

Never again.
